Hey! It's Klara!

In 2023, I decided to leave everything behind: my job as an event manager in Ibiza, my comfort zone, my bearings. Something was missing. I needed to find myself, to slow down, to give meaning to my daily life.

I grabbed my backpack, my savings, and set off alone to the other side of the world. An initiatory, intense, and overwhelming journey. Among my dreams was Japan. I wanted to see the sakuras in bloom… What I didn't yet know was that this country would change my life.

It was there, during a chance encounter, that I discovered matcha. This exceptional green tea, at once intense, sweet, and powerful, fascinated me. Curious by nature, I stayed, visited plantations, met passionate producers, learned, tasted, observed. And above all: I understood. This tea was much more than a drink, it was a ritual, a culture, an art of living.

Back in Belgium, one thing became clear: I wanted to share this treasure with our country.
This is how Karma Matcha was born.

At Karma Matcha, we collaborate with carefully selected Japanese producers who adhere to ancestral and sustainable practices passed down from generation to generation. Their expertise, patience, and respect for nature and the product are at the heart of our project.

Our mission?
To offer you matcha of impeccable quality, authentic and accessible, to create at home a moment of pause, well-being and connection to the essential.
